TRANSLATING SCIENCE INTO LIVES
Matoori Lab at Université de Montréal
MATOORI LAB
Bioengineered Diagnostics and Therapeutics
Our goal is to make a difference for patients.
We develop transformational formulations for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes with a patient-centric focus.
As we are guided by clinical need, we proactively engage with clinicians and pharmacists.
The Matoori Lab was established in 2021 and is located at the Faculté de Pharmacie of Université de Montréal (Québec, Canada).
We are committed to foster an inclusive environment in the Matoori Lab, and to promote diversity in STEM in terms of age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, nationality, and religion.

HOW WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE

HYDROGELS FOR WOUND HEALING
Advanced wound dressings for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic wounds (diabetic foot ulcer, burns, psoriasis).
VESICULAR REACTION COMPARTMENTS
Dye- and enzyme-loaded liposomes and polymersomes for diagnostic applications in metabolic diseases.

STEPPING INTO THE CLINIC
We engange with physicians and pharmacists to learn about clinical needs, to identify biorelevant systems to test our formulations, and to conduct clinical research.
